Things You Might Have Not Known About Me

You might be wondering who I really am, what my personality is, and what I am like. Well, I have enlisted here the top 5 facts about me that you might have not known yet.

Although I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, I am also passionate about teaching. I used to be a part time college instructor, teaching mainly accounting, economics and business related subjects.

I am a journalist since elementary. I had been an editor in chief of our school paper for two consecutive years and an associate editor for almost four years. I like the feeling of broadcasting in front of many people and I like to feel the thrill brought on by pressure and nervousness.

I am a sports enthusiast. I love playing various kinds of sports. I used to play softball and football in college.

I am also a good dancer. Well, that’s what my fellows told me. I have been a member of a dance troupe for over 10 years now. We do cheerdance, dancesports, ballroom, folkdance, zumba and many more.

I love debate. I was also an active member of our college debating society. Debating energizes my senses and helped me a lot in developing my speaking, analytical, listening and researching skills.

Beach Wedding Hairstyles You Should Try

Beach wedding hairstyles should suit an outdoor setting. The hairstyles should reflect the casual nature of the event. Of course, the hairstyle should not overwhelm the natural beauty of the bride. If you are still pondering on what beach wedding hairstyle to choose, here are some ideas that you can use. I suggest you get through this list of hairstyles that you can use in your wedding.

Updo

This is the style to consider when you are concerned about the humidity and the wind. The Updo is also appropriate in non-beach wedding scenarios. A casual Updo is recommended for a beach wedding.

Ponytail

You can choose from a side-swept ponytail, low or high ponytail. You can also wear the ponytails straight and still pull it off in a wedding. All will look gorgeous on the young bride on her most memorable day.

Half-Up

Half-up is used to prevent the hair from blowing into your face. This is a very versatile hairstyle. You can use decorative hair accessories or flowers to secure your bun. Side-swept bangs can also work with this hairstyle.

Wavy

Add loose waves to bring your beach wedding hairstyle some body. A curling iron is great in creating those wavy locks. Use some hairspray to secure the locks. Pin a flower on your locks make sure it matches with your bouquet.

The Vital Role of Journalists and Bloggers to Global Peace

Since my college days, I have been hearing that freedom of expression together with its democratic principles is guarded by those individuals in the media who fought and died for the sake of such freedom to express one’s self and to unveil anything that is happening around us without pretensions and prejudice.

The fast communication of networks around the world that we have today is considered as the pillars in promoting peace and unity among all mankind. Tri-media people like myself, for instance, play a very vital role in the continuous existence of the freedom of expression not only for human rights but also for maintaining the spirit of brotherhood and universal progress.

Thus, our active influence, as individuals in the world of blogging, media and broadcasting, in the lives of the general public becomes an integral part as well as an immediate tool in imparting knowledge, truth and pieces of information to the whole world.

As a blogger and a journalist at the same time, we have the capacity to contribute to the political and economic change in the world. Our role as writers as well as our objectives in global peace and self-expression is too vital that these should not be destroyed and hindered by any chaos or any aggressions perhaps.

The Essence of Pen and Paper

It took more than a couple of years before I finally appreciated and understood the value of pen and paper.  It is just recently that I learned genuinely about the real uses of these two mighty things- to scribble our thoughts and to express ourselves freely and spontaneously.

I believe that every one of us has his own ideas and concepts in mind, however, is we could not be able to get them across; those things in our mind will probably just bring us nowhere.

I have shared with you in my previous article how and why I hated writing. Now, after years of confusions, complaints and introspection regarding writing, the essence of it slowly sunk in my senses. All the doubts and weariness did faded away. All my questions were comprehensively answered through the years.

Writing is indeed a genuinely complicated task and explaining well its importance would require a lengthened discussions. However, the profound reason I was able to learn out of my experiences was that writing is one of the most available opportunity to relieve our fervors.

Writing is also a great venue for self-expression and self-fulfillment. Once you were able to communicate yourself well through writing, and once you have already disclosed and released all your valuable thoughts, you could be able to taste the sweetness of fulfillment. If like me you also want to find self-fulfillment, I suggest you learn to love and embrace your pen and paper. Fear not to write. Do not hesitate to be yourself. Never hold back, instead, express yourself truly and freely, without any pretentions at all.
